The Human Resource Support position isresponsible for various administrative tasks maintaining employee records accurate reporting and assisting with the recruitment process.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in all HR-related requests and inquiries
- Lead the company hiring process by identifying top candidates conducting reference checks and preparing employment terms
- Update online job posting requirements when needed
- Schedule HR events meetings and interviews
- Communicate with candidates during the hiring process
- Organize and perform employee orientations for new hires
- Generate reports as requested
- Finalize termination paperwork and assist with exit interviews
- Handle grievances and complaints
- Produce and distribute HR documentation
- File and maintain employee records
- Communicate with third-party benefit providers and vendors
- Process all paid and non-paid leave claims
- Responsible for tracking and maintaining records for unemployment insurance claims
- Update weekly payroll reporting for management
Requirements and Qualifications
- Associates or bachelors degree in human resources or a related field a plus
- Previous experience working in HR required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- General knowledge of employment laws and best practices
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Experience with HR functions and payroll practices
- Close attention to detail
- Solid ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent proficiency in business and communication tools
