Job Title: Shunt Loader

1 vacancy at Building 28 - Monday through Friday from 6:30pm to 3:15am with potential OT as needed.
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for loading and offloading empties and finished goods materials from the warehouse and from both RAG facilities. Filling out paperwork for the transfer of materials and packing slips of material received. This includes communications with customers team members at both plants and truck drivers. Duties include loading recording checking forklift pallet jack and stocking finished goods and or empties at B28 facility.
Main Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)
Load materials according to schedule or as needed
Receive empty containers and or finished goods from RAG facilities.
Breakdown empty containers that come in from TMMTX and palletize them in proper order.
Effective communication (verbal and written) with customers clerk lead and supervisor for any material issues
Ensure and load Shipments according to the daily plan.
Load and unload customer material for shipment
Maintain the cleanliness safety and organization of the shipping warehouse empty container area.
Adhere to EHS and company policies and standard work expectations
Actively participate in continuous improvement activities.
Support in picking orders if needed.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent High school diploma or GED
Experience:
1 year of related experience in Shipping and Receiving.
1 year of warehouse experience.
Familiarity with Packing slips/ Forklift/pallet jack preferred.
Loading and off-loading Trailers

Computer Skills:
Basic proficiency in MS Office including Word Excel PowerPoint Teams and in the use of e-mail web browser applications.
Mathematical Abilities:
Intermediate math skills.
Analytical or Reasoning Abilities:
Strong analytical planning skills and critical thinking ability required with orientation for continuous improvement.
Ability to understand and follow written technical procedures/instructions
Ability to effectively prepare business and technical documentation such as procedures reports presentations etc.
Communication Skills: (Writing foreign Language Reasoning)
Ability to read write and speak English
Highly effective articulate communication skills (verbal & written) with strong interpersonal effectiveness and the ability to work with all levels in the organization and across cultures
Bilingual English-Spanish preferred

Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work.

Physical Requirements:
50% of the time will be spent driving loading and unloading while the remaining 50% will be spent on the production floor completing work related to the position.
Must be able to lift 25 pounds individually and team lift 50 pounds
Must be able to perform this job safely in accordance with standard operating procedures without endangering the health or safety of self or others.
Must wear all personal protective equipment where required.
