ASSISTANT BAND DIRECTOR/MARCHING BAND COACH

ARROYO GRANDE HIGH SCHOOL

2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR

We are now accepting applications for the following certificated position(s) beginning in the 2026-2027 school year.

POSITION(S):Assistant Band Director - Fall Season

Marching Band Coach - Fall Season

STIPEND:Assistant Band Director $2500

Marching Band Coach $1500

REQUIREMENTS:

• Demonstrate knowledge and experience in band/ music
• Valid California drivers license
• DOJ and FBI Background check clearance

JOB SUMMARY:Support sectionals and ensemble rehearsals. Assist with marching technique and field maneuvers. Average 3-4 hours/day.

PROCEDURE FOR APPLICATIONS:

Candidates who may also need to drive students in a personal or district vehicle must also complete theDriver Registration Form online and submit a DMV Pull Notice prior to transporting of students.

• Internal Certificated contracted Lucia Mar employees:All interestedcurrent temporary and probationary-zero LMUSD contracted employees may apply as aninternal candidate. Classified and substitutes must complete an online application viaFrontline as aninternal candidate.
