Non-Invasive Cardiologist (MD/DO)
Position Summary
The Non-Invasive Cardiologist provides comprehensive cardiovascular care through evaluation diagnosis and medical management of heart disease using non-invasive testing modalities. This role emphasizes outpatient and inpatient consultative care preventive cardiology and longitudinal management of cardiovascular conditions using evidence-based patient-centered practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients with cardiovascular conditions including coronary artery disease heart failure arrhythmias valvular heart disease hypertension and lipid disorders
- Provide outpatient cardiology clinic care and inpatient consultation services as needed
- Perform and interpret non-invasive cardiac diagnostic studies such as transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography stress testing (exercise and pharmacologic) ambulatory rhythm monitoring and cardiac imaging as applicable
- Develop and implement individualized evidence-based treatment plans
- Manage cardiovascular medications and monitor treatment effectiveness and safety
- Participate in preventive cardiology and cardiovascular risk-reduction initiatives
- Collaborate with interventional cardiology electrophysiology cardiac surgery primary care and other specialists
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses treatment plans lifestyle modification and disease prevention
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in quality improvement patient safety and outcomes initiatives
- Supervise and educate residents fellows or advanced practice providers as applicable
- Comply with all regulatory accreditation and professional standards
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program
- Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Disease fellowship
- Board-eligible or board-certified in Cardiovascular Disease
- Ability to obtain and maintain unrestricted state medical licensure
- DEA registration or eligibility

Position Summary
The Non-Invasive Cardiologist provides comprehensive cardiovascular care through evaluation diagnosis and medical management of heart disease using non-invasive testing modalities. This role emphasizes outpatient and inpatient consultative care preventive cardiology and longitudinal management of cardiovascular conditions using evidence-based patient-centered practices.
