What are we looking for

The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Co-op will be a member of the Welland Team and working closely to support our North America EHS department. This includes performing a variety of assignments to support the optimization of our EHS program data management and EHS continuous improvement.

Co-op Term Duration: May 2026 - September 2026

Essential Responsibilites

Performing EHS site inspections and audits.
Assist with EHS data collection.
Working with cross functional departments to resolve EHS concerns.
Working on EHS continuous improvement projects.
Working with both Welland and Waukesha sites to combine policies.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date EHS files records and documentations.
Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of EHS files and records.
Perform periodic audits of EHS files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
Provides clerical support to the EHS department.

Qualifications

In process of completing a program in Environmental Health and Safety.
Knowledge of ISO 45001 and 14001 would be considered an asset.
Experience working within a manufacturing setting would be considered an asset.
