HOW YOULL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your Role:
- Oversees clinical nursing education within the Clinical Division including planning development organization implementation and direction of nursing practice (e.g. communications program management research professional development and team relations).
- Keeps current on nursing trends and best practices for clinical integration to improve patient outcomes.
- Establishes and initiates nursing practice improvement plans.
- Conducts educational needs assessments.
- Displays an understanding of diversity.
- Demonstrates integrity compassion accountability respect and excellence (I CARE values).
- Enhances and contributes to a safe environment for all colleagues visitors and patients.
- Performs miscellaneous duties not expressly described herein.

- RN Registered Nurse/Director Nursing Practice (job code (JC): 035001)
Supervises:
- RN/Clinical Education Coord (JC: 036903)
- RN/Improvement Advisor (JC: 035503)
WHAT YOULL NEED TO APPLY
Required Education:
- Bachelors degree in nursing
Preferred Education:
- Masters degree (or equivalent) in nursing
Required Experience:
- Six (6) years of relevant clinical educator experience.
- Note: Human Resources (HR) may accept up to two (2) years relevant graduate-level nursing education on a 1-year:1-year basis in lieu of required experience
Preferred Experience:
- Experience developing teaching and coordinating educational programs for adult learners.
Required Certification/License/Registry:
- Licensed as an RN in accordance with Florida Statutes (FS) Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations) Chapter 464 (Nursing) Part I (Nurse Practice Act) includes multistate compact licensure.
