Job Summary

North Haven Public Schools is seeking a long-term Italiansubstitute teacher for North Haven Middle School starting approximately on April 20 2026.

Responsibilities are as follows:

Prepares lesson plans that achieve clear objectives use appropriate techniques and serve the needs of all learners in the classroom
Demonstrated strong content knowledge
Maintains accurate and complete records
Assesses student learning on a continual basis and identifies areas of intervention if needed
Communicates student progress with parents
Designs instruction to meet the needs of all learners
Designs and implements assessments that measure progress
Maintains a positive learning environment

Qualifications Profile:

CT State Certification or certifiability in Italian Grades 7-12 (#020) required
