Job Title: Assistant Football Coach (Part-time)
Reporting Relationship: Head Football Coach
Unit: IWU - Marion
Department: Intercollegiate Athletics
Campus Location: Recreation & Wellness Center - Marion IN
Summary of Position: This position will coach and serve as an assistant to the Offensive or Defensive Coordinator and will include recruitment camp operations scouting and film breakdown.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Duties may include but are not limited to coaching and serving as an assistant to the Offensive or Defensive Coordinator
- Other duties include recruiting qualified student athletes use of recruiting software camp operations scouting film breakdown monitoring academic progress of student-athletes and any other duties assigned by the Athletic Department
Qualifications:According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement. |
Education - Bachelors degree required
Experience - One to three (1-3) Years of High School or Collegiate Coaching Experience
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures
Required Skills - Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of computer applications for recruiting and video exchange and breakdown
- Organizational skills
- Ability to work weekends & evenings and also to travel
