Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior 1D Simulation Engineer with expertise in Exhaust Aftertreatment Systems (EATS) and catalytic this role you will develop and integrate high-fidelity 1D models supporting heavy-duty engine development and emissions compliance.
You will work at the intersection of combustion chemical kinetics thermodynamics and system simulation contributing directly to next-generation diesel and alternative fuel powertrain technologies.
Qualifications :
- Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering Chemical Engineering Automotive Engineering or similar
- Minimum 5 years of experience in EATS simulation and catalyst systems modeling
- Strong expertise in catalytic chemistry for heavy-duty applications
- Proven hands-on experience with GT-POWER for 1D aftertreatment modeling
- Strong proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for model development and integration
- Experience calibrating and validating models using engine rig or vehicle test data
- Solid understanding of combustion engines thermodynamics and chemical kinetics
Meritorious
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git SVN)
- Python or MATLAB scripting for automation
- PhD in a relevant technical field
