Eurofins BPEU is expanding its IT Operations team and we are looking for a skilled and motivated IT Field Support Specialist (L2) to join us in Bratislava supporting our laboratories in Brno and Budapest on a weekly basis.
About the Role
As an IT Field Support Specialist (L2) you will be the primary onsite IT contact for our Bratislava laboratory while also traveling weekly to Brno and Budapest to provide hands-on support. You will work in close collaboration with European and global IT teams to ensure the smooth operation of workplace devices laboratory instrument computers network connectivity and business applications.
This is an exciting autonomous field role in a scientifically regulated environment ideal for someone proactive service-oriented and eager to grow.
English is the main working language across all supported sites.
What You Will Do
Provide on-site and remote IT support for users systems and laboratory instrument computers.
Log diagnose and resolve incidents and service requests within defined SLAs.
Troubleshoot hardware software and network connectivity issues.
Image configure and maintain user and instrument PCs according to company standards.
Support GxP-regulated laboratory environments ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
Coordinate with instrument vendors software suppliers and global IT teams.
Maintain accurate IT asset and configuration documentation.
Execute small to medium local IT projects.
Provide weekly onsite assistance in Brno and Budapest (minimum one day per site).
Act as the key onsite IT representative for Bratislava with a strong sense of ownership.
Communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Carry out additional duties consistent with the role and with manager support
Qualifications :
Relevant educational background in Information Technology.

Required
Relevant educational background in Information Technology.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar technical support or field service role (experience in life sciences environments is a strong advantage).
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Windows operating systems.
Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Outlook Teams SharePoint OneDrive).
Experience with modern workplace management tools (e.g. Microsoft Intune).
Good understanding of basic networking fundamentals (LAN Wi-Fi VLANs switching).
Ability to work autonomously as the primary onsite IT representative.
Strong troubleshooting skills and customer-first mindset.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Preferred
Experience supporting laboratory instrument PCs or scientific IT systems.
Understanding of GxP audit preparation and change-control processes.
ITIL certification.
Experience coordinating with external vendors (instrument suppliers network providers).
