Job Summary
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Islington to assist with the appointment of a Plumber on a 3-month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: 21.14 - 28.28 per hour
Summary:
An opportunity has arisen to join the Property Services team within Housing and Adult Social Services as a Plumber / Multi-trade. The role involves delivering high-quality plumbing repairs and maintenance across council-managed properties including responsive planned empty homes and capital works. You will work as part of a team to ensure homes are safe decent and maintained to a high standard.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out plumbing repairs and associated trade works to domestic properties
- Complete responsive planned and emergency repairs to a high standard
- Plan and organise workload to meet appointments and service targets
- Use PDA/mobile systems to record works materials used and follow-on repairs
- Maintain tools equipment company vehicle and stock responsibly
Qualifications:
- Recognised C&G Apprenticeship in Plumbing NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
- Multi-skills training to minimum NVQ Level 3 (or willingness to undertake training)
- Blue CSCS Card (or willingness to obtain prior to starting)
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience delivering high-quality plumbing in domestic properties
- Good knowledge of construction health & safety practices
- Physically fit to undertake manual tasks and driving duties
- Clean UK driving licence

- You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
- You should have right to work in U.K
- This role requires an Enhanced DBS
