We are currently seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Cashier you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and accurately processing transactions at the checkout counter. Your main duties will include scanning items processing payments and handling customer inquiries. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized checkout area and assisting with restocking shelves when needed. The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience as a cashier excellent communication and customer service skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately. A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position. Responsibilities: - Greet customers and provide friendly and efficient service at the checkout counter - Scan items and process transactions accurately and efficiently - Handle cash credit and debit card transactions - Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products and promotions - Maintain a clean and organized checkout area - Assist with restocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels - Follow all company policies and procedures including safety and security protocols - Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner - Collaborate with other team members to ensure a positive and efficient shopping experience for customers - Perform other duties as assigned by management Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Ability to handle cash transactions accurately - Basic math skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Attention to detail and ability to multitask - Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed - Knowledge of POS systems is a plus If you are a friendly and efficient individual with a passion for providing exceptional customer service we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
