Job Summary
Location: Castro Valley CA 94546
Start Date: February 23
Schedule: Twice a week Monday and Saturday
Helper Rate: $20.83/hr
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable helper to assist a male senior in his 90s who is bed-bound and sleeps most of the time. The role primarily focuses on basic personal care and providing a calm supportive presence.
Care Responsibilities
- Perform diaper changes with proper hygiene and care
- Bed rotation/repositioning to prevent pressure sores (every few hours as needed)
- Provide companionship and gentle supervision
- Ensure clients comfort while in bed
- Monitor basic needs and report any concerns to the family
- Maintain a clean and safe care environment
- Monday and Saturday 12:00 PM 4:00 PM
Ideal Candidate
- Patient reliable and attentive
- Experience with bed-bound or elderly clients is highly preferred
- Patient gentle and attentive demeanor
- Comfortable providing personal care including diaper changes
- Reliable and able to follow care instructions
