Job Summary

Position Summary

The individual is to perform repetitive workstation or line assembly operations to assemble components into mold bases for the plastic injection molding industry.

Principle Responsibilities

Perform bench-type processes to complete mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies using hand tools or power tools

Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition

Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.

Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on equipment as required

Operates both stationary and moving overhead cranes.

Operates forklift as required.

Complete and maintain paperwork for parts. Prepares mold plates for manufacturing and assembly functions.

Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.

Adheres to the companys safety policies and procedures.

Perform all other duties as assigned.

Skills Required

Basic computer knowledge.

Understanding of company quality and safety standards.

Must be able to read and interpret drawings follow work order routings use simple math to perform basic calculations and use basic handheld measuring tools.

Physical Strength must be able to frequently lift/push/pull objects that are 40 pounds or lighter.

Education

High School Diploma or GED.

Work Experience

6 months of related factory experience.
