Summary

The Supervisor Billing is responsible for overseeing the daily billing operations that support warehouse and logistics activities. This role ensures timely and accurate invoicing serves as the point of contact between warehouse operations and finance and helps streamline billing processes in a fast-paced freight forwarding environment. Will supervise billing staff and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day billing operations related to the warehouse.

  • Ensureaccurateandtimelyinvoicingin accordance withcustomer contracts rates and company policies.

  • Collect and scan documents into the document imaging system for billing packets and visibility

  • Ensure charges are enteredtimelyinto the billing system and audit charges soDSVcan bill the client (DSVrouted cargo)

  • Enter all charges print invoice and mail with applicable documentation to client (Non-DSVcargo)

  • Process and record direct deposits and electronic bill payments for the brokerage operation

  • Confirm duty payment and bill if necessary

  • Order andmaintaininventory of office supplies for the brokerage operation

  • Proactivelyidentifyand resolve billing related issues

  • Train mentor and guide billing team members to ensure quality and productivity standards are met.

Educational background / Work experience

  • 1-2 years or more of relevant work experiencerequired

Skills & Competencies

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Detail oriented organized and able to effectively manage multiple priorities

  • Effective interpersonal skills and ability to communicate both orally and in writing

  • Must be able to communicate in a professional manner as the job will require day to day correspondence with many internal or external clients

Computer Skills

  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft OutlookWordand Excel

Language skills

  • Must be able to read write and speak English and the local country language

For this position the expected base pay range is $69000 - $93000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors including relevant experience skills education or certifications and geographic location consistent with applicable laws and company policy.
