Role Overview
We are currently recruiting Cost Managers in Milan. This is an exciting opportunity to join and strengthen RLBs team while working in a supportive environment on interesting projects.
The role presents an opportunity to work across various projects as well as commercial life sciences and industrial among others in the future while the team continues to develop diversify and as RLBs European business continues to grow.
Role Responsibilities
  • The candidate will be an integral part of a team that is accountable for the commercial and contractual performance of a project.
  • To support business objectives of delivering value for money in all circumstances
  • To carry out assigned duties efficiently and in accordance with processes and procedures.
  • Comply with established commercial/procurement/ contractual strategies.
  • Take responsibility for complying with Environmental Health Safety Security and Quality Standards
  • Cost Planning and estimating post contract and procurement duties
Candidate Profile
Qualifications
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar construction related technical discipline.
Experience
  • Proven technical / project delivery experience. Previously employed by a consultancy contractor developer or client-side organisation
  • Stakeholder management with a clear focus on developing client accounts
  • A track record of working with teams and managing projects by prioritising workloads and delivering deadlines.
Behaviours
  • Recognised as a positive collaborator who shares knowledge freely and offers support. Recognised as a team player with a strong willingness to learn.
  • Demonstrates a positive and proactive approach to the role and will be committed to delivering customer service excellence with good commercial results.
