The School of Nursing offers a range of undergraduate and graduate programs across two campuses including Health Care Assistant Practical Nursing (Williams Lake only) Bachelor of Science in Nursing Master of Nursing and Master of Nurse Practitioner programs.
The School of Nursing seeks applications for one (1) Tripartite tenure track position with a potential start date of July 1 2026. The successful candidate with a tripartite appointment will teach theory and practice courses in undergraduate and graduate programs have a well-developed program ofresearch/scholarshipand engage in service to the school university profession and community.
Requirements
- PhD or other doctorate; consideration may be given to doctoral candidates who will complete their degree by the appointment date or shortlythereafter.
- Holds a minimum of one (1) degree innursing;
- Five (5) years full-time or equivalent hours of nursingexperience;
- Evidence of aprogram of scholarship/research;
- Evidence of continuous learning in your area ofnursing;
- Experience teaching theory and clinicalpractice;
- An understanding of and experience in the Canadian healthcaresystem;
- Current BCCNM registration in good standing without limits or conditions or eligibility for registration with BCCNM prior to appointment;transcripts and references required for interview
