Job Summary
Applied Industrial Technologies is currently seeking an Engineer to join our National (Strategic) Accountsteam and work with one of our largest this role youll get to apply your engineering expertise by planning implementing and executing targeted reliability programs to enhance efficiency increase time between product failures and determine opportunities for product consolidation. You will useyour consultative selling approach to learn about your customers applications and needs. Youll help bring it all together as you work with customers engineers andmaintenance will also work with Applied corporate departments to develop and execute programs for the customer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform a day to day review of current product usage and effectiveness among all customer plant locations. Product focus will be on bearing power transmission and fluid power products.
Plan implement and executetargeted reliability programs to enhance efficiency pinpointproduct failures/recommend new product to reduce downtime due to product failure and determine opportunities for product consolidation.
Work with engineering/procurement teams regularly
Define customer organization chart and communicate to Applied strategic accounts team and subsidiary leadership team
Meet Regularly with engineering/procurement team leaders
Establish a project pipeline report and maintain status
Communicate monthly to strategic accounts and field management team
Document savings opportunities and establish replication processes across customers enterprise.
Provide product sourcing assistance and continually pursue products within our scope of supply. Work with service centers and customer to expedite orders where needed.
Manage revenue growth by introducing and facilitating penetration into engineering teams with the Applied subsidiary groups
Flow Control
Automation
Fluid Power
Capital quote establishment follow up and closing. Communication with field leaders field teams and strategic accounts team regularly.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will possess the following experience traits and skills as they join our team and help move us to the next level.
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other Engineering field
1-3 years industry related work experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Word Power Point is a must.
Relationship-building skills at all levels with customers and prospect organizations
Valid drivers license and satisfactory driving record are essential
Preferred experience in the industries of Pulp & Paper and/or Corrugated Packaging with presentation skills to C-suite personnel.
Preferred experience in a related field of Applied product bearings power transmission components fluid power general industrial supplies etc.
Preferred experience in developing new business building repeat business and managing a sales territory

Math aptitude and the ability to apply mechanical principles to address customer needs are essential.
