About your opportunity

As a Senior Reliability Engineer - Electrical you will apply your deep technical knowledge andexpertiseto develop and implement strategies and plans to manage the reliability ofSeqwatersoperational assets. Working closely with asset engineers and maintenance teams you will contribute to asset failure investigations reliability analysis and asset condition assessments. You will support the ongoing development and maturity ofSeqwatersreliabilitypractices so they are incorporated into future operational and maintenance asset lifecycle decisions.

You willapply established reliability investigation methodologies and contribute to continuous the asset management lifecycle andassistSeqwaterin achieving alignment to ISO55001.

This roleis responsible for:

  • Be a major contributor to the development of a multiyear strategy and implementation roadmap to introduce proactive and predicative reliability maintenance practices.
  • Applya high levelofexpertiseto complete the review of equipment failure data and provide recommendations to improve asset reliability across theorganisation.
  • Develop and effectivelyutilisestrong relationships with external and internal stakeholders to coordinate improvements and develop a schedule which enhances performance and the reliability ofSeqwatersassets.
  • Perform the role of Lead Investigator for major assetfailuresthis includesutilisingthe 5 whysRCAand ICAM methodologies. Provide and coordinate the implementation of recommendations from the investigation.
  • Initiate RCAs and other analytical techniques to interrogate data and drive improvement of asset performance and reporting.
  • Design conduct andmanage detaileddiscipline specific asset condition inspections.
  • Lead the project toidentifyproblem assets (Bad Actors) across theorganisationand develop recommended actions. Manage the development of an education awareness program to ensure sites implement any changes from the review andstandardisepractices across the business.
  • Provide professional engineering reviews of maintenance activities forSeqwaterMaintenance Team asrequested.
  • Observe andcomply withallSeqwaterwork health and safety quality and environmental management systems and procedures.
  • Undertake other duties which are assigned from time to time by the Leader.

About you

To be successful in this role you willpossess:

  • Tertiary qualifications inElectrical Engineering or related field with significant asset management experience.
  • Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).
  • Demonstrated extensive experience in asset engineering including maintenance optimisation reliability improvement and lifecycle management ofElectrical specific infrastructure
  • Extensive knowledge ofElectrical design and operational principles for dams pipelines waterretainingstructures and related assets ideally in the water or heavy industrial sector.
  • C class drivers licence.
  • Asset Reliability Practitioner certification (desirable).
  • Knowledge of change management and project management methodologies (desirable).
  • Strong ability to collaborate negotiate and influence across diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven capability to work effectively in dynamic environments both autonomously and within a team.
  • Demonstrated skill inidentifyingemergingrisks and ensuringtimely effective responses.

This position has a competitive salary rangeplus 12.75% superannuation and is full-time permanent.
