Job Title: MRI Technologist
Location: Hackensack NJ 07601
Contract: 13-Week Travel Assignment

Schedule:
MondayFriday 3:00 PM 11:30 PM
Every 3rd Weekend (Saturday & Sunday)

Compensation:

Local Pay: $50 $60/hour ($1875 $2250 weekly)
Travel Pay: Up to $66/hour (including stipend) Up to $2475 weekly

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking MRI Technologistfor an exciting job in Hackensack NJ.

Key Responsibilities

Perform MRI procedures with a minimum of 99% accuracy
Schedule patients efficiently based on requisitions and workflow
Prepare and administer contrast media accurately and safely
Process images within 30 minutes of exam completion
Translate physician orders into appropriate imaging protocols
Maintain patient logs equipment records and supply inventory
Collaborate with radiologists to optimize imaging protocols
Serve as charge technologist when required
Respond promptly to STAT and emergency imaging requests
Maintain a clean safe and compliant work environment
Meet productivity standards within 20% of monthly FTE average (excluding low-volume shifts)
Ensure accurate exam charging and documentation
Safely transport patients within the facility
Troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate when necessary
Assist with cross-training and departmental coverage as needed

Required Qualifications

Active New Jersey State MRI License
ARRT (MRI) Certification
Minimum 2 years of MRI experience in a hospital or clinical setting
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent communication and patient care skills
