The Terrace Research Fellow will perform a range of curatorial activities in the Department of Art of Ancient Egypt Nubia and the Near East. Projects will be determined by the department according to greatest need. Duties may include: sorting through archival material improvement of records in the MFAs collections- database management assisting visiting scholars assisting with gallery work object transport and housing; other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Advanced graduate student in Egyptology preferred.
Excellent clerical computer and communication skills required.
Attention to detail and accuracy a must.
Applicants must be able to provide proof of U.S. work authorization at the time of hire.
SALARY AND SCHEDULE
Temporary Hourly 35 hours/week
June through August 2026
Hourly Rate: $28.00
