The school is seeking a creative technically skilled and reliable Performing Arts Technician to support drama music and dance departments.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing technical support for theatre productions concerts assemblies and events
Operating and maintaining lighting and sound equipment
Supporting rehearsals technical runs set changes and stage management
Managing equipment inventories repairs and PAT testing schedules
Supporting classroom lessons with AV lighting sound and equipment setup
Collaborating with teaching staff to deliver creative projects and performances
Designing lighting plots sound cues and production effects when required
Assisting with props costumes set design and backstage organisation
Ensuring health & safety compliance in all performance spaces
Supporting whole-school events that require staging or technical expertise

Experience in theatre tech sound engineering lighting design or stage management
Strong understanding of technical equipment and safe operation
Ability to work evenings for performances when required
