The Role

Planning and delivering high-quality Art lessons aligned with the national curriculum and GCSE/A-Level specifications.
Encouraging experimentation independent thinking and development of technical skills.
Preparing students for coursework and examination assessments.
Providing constructive feedback to support progress and attainment.
Maintaining a safe organised and stimulating studio environment.
Contributing to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
Supporting extracurricular activities such as art clubs competitions and exhibitions.
Candidate Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Strong subject knowledge and practical expertise in Art.
Excellent classroom management skills.
Ability to inspire creativity and confidence in students.
Understanding of health and safety within an art studio setting.
Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
