An established and welcoming Independent School in Northampton is seeking a reliable and responsible Minibus Driver to join our dedicated support team.
This is a key role within the school community ensuring our pupils travel safely and comfortably to and from school fixtures and educational visits.
The Role
Safely transport pupils on designated morning and afternoon routes
Drive students to sports fixtures trips and school events as required
Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain cleanliness of the minibus
Ensure safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed at all times
Report any vehicle defects incidents or concerns promptly
The Ideal Candidate
Holds a full clean UK driving licence (Category D1 preferred)
Has previous minibus or passenger transport experience (desirable)
Is punctual dependable and professional at all times
Enjoys working within a school environment
Has a calm friendly manner with children and young people
A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) is essential. All staff are expected to share the schools commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
