Job Summary
Senior Mid Office Business Analyst (f/m/d)

Join Axpo Polska and take on a pivotal role in shaping the standards for Deal Models across our Origination businesses and countries. As a Senior Mid Office Business Analyst youll ensure that all commercial operational risk accounting and reporting aspects of a transaction are coherently designed coordinated and implemented endtoend into systems and processes driving efficiency and innovation
What you will do:
Develop maintain and improve standards for Deal Models across Origination businesses.
Translate commercial contract structures into robust end-to-end Deal Models covering the full lifecycle.
Coordinate the implementation of complex contracts across Front Office Mid Office Back Office Risk Finance and IT.
Ensure Deal Model documentation is complete standardized and auditable.
Identify gaps and inefficiencies in existing Deal Models and propose improvements.
Collaborate with IT departments and work within established business analysis frameworks.
Support Deal Life Cycle (DLC) projects by gathering defining and documenting business and functional requirements.
What you bring & who you are:
University degree in STEM Economics Business Administration or a relevant field.
At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in banking finance or energy sectors.
Minimum 3 years working with ETRM systems preferably OpenLink Endur.
Strong understanding of end-to-end energy trading transactions including physical delivery financial settlement accounting and risk.
Excellent skills in technical analysis and design of business and functional requirements.
Familiarity with Origination business is an advantage.
Fluent in English and Polish (spoken and written).
Strong problem-solving analytical skills and a structured approach.
Willingness to travel when needed.

Mid Office is a department of over 30 experts located across 7 countries. We are responsible for improving efficiency of systems and processes for Origination business in whole Europe driving New Product Process ensuring data quality for volume data and risk management and supporting projects with business analysis.
