Location: Singapore. This is a hybrid position: 3 days in the office 2 days working remotely

Launch your underwriting career with Everest Group Ltd.! We are seeking talented Associates to join our Underwriting Rotational Development Program. This 24-month rotational program will provide technical training and professional development for individuals seeking an exciting underwriting opportunity.

Everest does not provide visa sponsorship for this position. Successful candidates must possess the requisite permanent work authorization for Singapore to be eligible for consideration.

As a Program participantyou will need to think both creatively and analytically problem solve and make decisions equipped with technical knowledge you will garner in the will receive excellent on-the-job training from our distinguished and highly experienced underwriters as well as our functional added benefit is the opportunity to launch your career with a two-year educational and developmental program alongside a cohort of your peers from across the globe!

Throughout the two years you can expect four (4) rotations with exposure to our various businesses instructor-led workshops monthly spotlight speaker series with executive leadership networking events self-paced course work and the like.

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyzing risks and preparing underwriting workups for new and renewal submissions preparing quotes binders policies and other documents to help streamline the underwiring process

  • With the support of supervisors communicating with local brokers about the risks opportunities and Everests capabilities

  • Provide renewal and new business writeups for underwriters to review

  • Attend underwriting meetings on behalf of partnering teams

  • Participate in marketing efforts with the team establishing relationships with early career brokers

  • Ad Hoc project work in a variety of vertical initiatives

  • International/United States travel is required

What You Bring: Experience & Qualifications

  • You are a student in your final year pursuing a bachelors degree at an accredited college/university

  • You are a highly ambitious team player with excellent communication analytical critical thinking collaboration and negotiation skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office software specifically Excel Word and PowerPoint

  • Leadership or involvement in extracurricular activities campus clubs/organizations your community etc.

  • Ability to work in a high volume fast paced environment
