The team you would join is the ONLY Cloud-Native 3D CAD & PDM solution out there addition its the fastest growing CAD Platform. And if thats not enough. If youve heard of SolidWorks Onshapes Founder also founded Solidworks many years ago Jon Hirschtick. Onshape is leading the way for innovation to happen in an industry (CAD) that has not yet adopted the full benefits of Cloud Native technologies. Its not easy but Onshape has figured it out.

Your Day-To-Day

  • Achieve assigned revenue target by selling PTCs Onshape line of solutions and services to global leaders in the industrial and commercial products space
  • Build high level Executive relationships at target accounts in order to help build the trust and sponsorship needed to move sales cycles forward and to closure.
  • Provide sales strategy to cross-functional sales team resources (sales presales specialists product development and global services)
  • Drive and manage the entire sales cycle from identifying the right business initiatives and building a competitive value proposition to negotiating through close
  • Competent in the ability to forecast and assess revenue opportunities
  • Investigate and understand the internal business processes of potential clients

Responsibilities:

  • Rapidly learn the appropriate industries Onshape solutions and the benefits of the CAD PDM Cloud model.
  • Rapidly learn the necessary business impact of Onshape solutions that benefit a target company and is the most impactful as well as articulate the business value to all levels of various roles in the organization from end user to executive.
  • Utilize for lead management sales forecasting and recording of key sales activities.
  • Successfully collaborate with the appropriate internal and external resources needed in order to executive sales cycles.
  • Manage the new business sales cycle from initial call through to contract negotiation and execution.
  • Work with an assigned Outbound Business Development Rep to identify target companies to approach for new business sales cycles as well as assisting with their execution of email and call campaigns.
  • Meet quarterly sales quotas.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Self-starter results driven motivated creative and resourceful
  • Consistent successful Enterprise Application Sales Experience preferably with cloud applications
  • Excellent written and verbal skills to ensure professional communication to internal and external contacts
  • Able to learn technical product information and articulate the value of the solutions for a customer and the positive business impact to them.
  • Able to work cross-functionally with other departments to deliver results on customers behalf

Skills and knowledge most helpful to the job:

  • Knowledge in design engineering new product development operational functions within innovative product companies
  • Able to work in a team and goals driven
  • Fluent in English
