Through our Care Prevention and Advocacy programs we fight for their right to be safe so their future is strong.

ABOUT TIP (Trauma Informed Programs) Empowering Educators. Supporting Children.

Trauma Informed Programs (TIP) is a portfolio of programs that includes the Children Ahead Program (therapeutic and case management response) TraCS Program (early childhood education support) Cubby House Program (childrens court-located support for young people) and Buddy Bags (provision of essential items for children and young people in emergency accommodation and out of home care).

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR TIP ROLE

Provide leadership vision and strategic direction for the Foundation at an Executive Level

Provide expert advice and recommendations to the CEO and Executive Team on trauma-informed

practice child safeguarding and emerging policy practice and evidence developments across

relevant service systems

Lead the strategic development delivery and continuous improvement of trauma informed

programs across the area of responsibility

Provide strategic leadership for monitoring evaluating and learning across the TIP portfolio to

generate insights that inform system level improvement and strategic decision making ensuring

program quality and impact

Build and maintain strategic relationships with government sector partners peak bodies

stakeholders and communities to advance the mission of the Foundation

Manage and monitor the relevant operating budgets and take corrective action where necessary

THE PERFECT YOU

A tertiary qualification in social welfare (social work or psychology)

Extensive senior leadership experience in a complex child family or community service delivery

environment

An in-depth understanding of best practices in relation to trauma-informed services for children and

young people

A demonstrated in-depth knowledge of child safeguarding frameworks including the Victorian Child

Safe Standards with proven ability to embed effective safeguarding systems and culture

Proven ability to translate data into and evaluation findings into strategic insights organisational

learning and program and service improvements

Demonstrated ability to build strong and enduring relationships within government and the social

services sector
