Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Masters degree from an accredited institution in Educational Leadership Operations Management Business Administration or related field.
  • Ten years of progressively responsible and effective experience in educational leadership school administration or operations of a large multi-site organization.
  • Successful experience as a school principal with demonstrated capacity in school operations logistics and problem solving.
  • Any appropriate combination of relevant education experience and/or certifications may be considered.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard computer applications.
  • Valid Florida drivers license.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Doctorate degree from an accredited institution.
  • Experience coordinating campus operational initiatives construction/renovation projects or major school transitions.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Knowledge and understanding of district policies and applicable federal and state laws and regulations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of school operations scheduling campus logistics and facility needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with principals operational departments contractors vendors and other departments.
  • Ability to analyze data evaluate services and recommend improvements.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build strategic relationships with a diverse group of administrators and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to think critically and creatively have a high standard of integrity and be motivated to incorporate best practices into the organizational structure.
  • Ability to exercise a high degree of independent judgment in the establishment interpretation application and enforcement of all rules regulations and policies.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Typical duties include but are not limited to:

  • Provide leadership and oversight for departments within the Operations Division as directed by the Chief Operations Officer.
  • Serve as the primary Operations Division contact for principals and district leadership ensuring clear communication and responsiveness to school needs.
  • Monitor evaluate and assess facility and campus conditions to identify operational priorities and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support school and district administrators in the development and implementation of procedures that promote safety instructional continuity and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate and align communication across departments in the Operations Division.
  • Ensure that schools receive timely accurate information regarding projects service schedules and potential impacts to campus operations.
  • Facilitate resolution of complex operational issues requiring cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Provide direct support to principals during construction renovation or relocation projects.
  • Participate in planning and project meetings to represent school-based operational needs and considerations.
  • Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify trends risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Gather and incorporate feedback from schools and Operations staff to enhance service quality.
  • Assist in the refinement and standardization of operational procedures to promote consistency efficiency and high-quality service delivery.
  • Maintain collaborative relationships and communication with principals district leadership and community partners.
  • Serve as a team member of the Superintendents Cabinet actively participating in districtwide planning development and evaluation to support leadership and alignment of resources with district goals.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
