Position Details:

Position Type: Contract Full-Time
Shift: 3rd Shift (10:45 PM 7:15 AM)
Schedule: 40 Hours/Week Guaranteed
Contract Duration: 14 Weeks
Pay Range: $50.00 per hour to $60.00 Per hour

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive nursing care within a correctional setting. The RN will deliver safe ethical and evidence-based care to a detained population while maintaining compliance with facility protocols and correctional healthcare standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to detainees in accordance with established policies and procedures
Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor patient conditions
Administer medications treatments and injections as prescribed
Respond to medical emergencies and perform triage as needed
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
Collaborate with physicians LPNs and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Ensure compliance with infection control safety and security procedures within the detention environment

Requirements:

Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License
Minimum 1 year of RN experience preferred
Correctional or detention healthcare experience preferred
Active BLS or CPR Certification
COVID Vaccination Card
