Job Title : Senior DevOps Engineer Cloud IaC & On-Prem CI/CD

Job Type : W2/C2C

Experience : 9-10 years

Location : Plano Texas

Responsibilities:

7 years in DevOps Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or System Engineering roles
Experience in strategic planning and aligning DevOps initiatives with business goals.
Proven expertise in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
Advanced certifications in DevOps Cloud technologies or Kubernetes.
Design implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for on-prem and cloud platforms using industry-leading tools.
Automate DevOps workflows across all phases of the delivery pipeline.
Collaborate with Scrum teams to deploy and operate microservices-based applications in multiple environments including production.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across on-prem and hybrid cloud environments ensuring high availability and performance.
Use monitoring tools to detect diagnose and resolve system events and alarms focusing on eliminating recurring issues.
Provide timely and informative follow-up on incident tickets and ensure SLA compliance.
Drive continuous improvement in deployment processes leveraging Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and immutable infrastructure principles.
Implement DevSecOps best practices including vulnerability scanning and compliance frameworks
Ability to mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of automation and continuous improvement.
Strong problem-solving communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Technical Skills

CI/CD Tools: Jenkins GitHub Actions Azure DevOps GitLab CI.
Cloud Platforms: AWS Azure GCP.
Infrastructure as Code: Terraform Ansible Chef Puppet.
Containerization & Orchestration: Docker Kubernetes (AKS/EKS/GKE).
Monitoring & Observability: Prometheus Grafana ELK/EFK stacks.
Programming/Scripting: Python Shell Go.
Security & Compliance: DevSecOps practices vulnerability scanning SOX compliance

Qualification:

Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
