Job Title: Senior Systems Analyst
Location: Tallahassee FL
Duration: 15 months
Employment Type: Contract

Role Overview
This role supports a large-scale financial systems modernization initiative involving remediation and enhancement of reporting interfaces and applications. The position focuses on updating and converting legacy Focus and WebFocus assets in alignment with a multi-year financial management system transition.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze current Focus programs and WebFocus reports and document specifications
Develop an overall remediation strategy for Focus programs and reports
Analyze and improve existing reports based on business needs
Convert WebFocus and Mainframe Focus queries to T-SQL queries
Collaborate with database administrators to create database views and stored procedures
Update Focus programs and WebFocus reports to reflect chart of account changes
Convert mainframe flat file data sources to database tables
Analyze financial data and recommend improvements to the financial data model
Administer the WebFocus remediation environment
Perform knowledge transfer with technical staff

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum of 2 years experience in Tibco Mainframe Focus or WebFocus
Experience developing programs in mainframe Focus
Experience developing processes and reports in WebFocus
Familiarity with IBM mainframe and Job Control Language (JCL)
Strong SQL skills and experience with IBM DB2
Experience creating financial data reports (general ledger purchasing or revenue data)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Understanding of multi-source data implementations

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of modern reporting tools such as MS Power BI IBM Cognos and Tableau
Knowledge of the SCRUM framework
Knowledge of financial systems such as ERP
Familiarity with data warehousing and data management concepts

Education
Bachelors Degree in a field related to technology or finance. Work experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis.
