Job Summary

Full-time Campus Police Officer

Job Description:

This is a non-supervisory entry-level position for sworn law enforcement officers. The incumbent is expected to provide basic law enforcement services to the college-wide community within the mission goals and objectives of the agency in compliance with all local state and federal laws. The incumbent will be assigned to a campus and shift as necessary for agency success.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF THE FUNCTION:

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

  • While performing the duties of this job employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions near moving mechanical parts in high/precarious places with firearms and explosives and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions fumes or airborne particles toxic or caustic chemicals extreme cold extreme heat and vibrations. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
