Job Summary

About the Role

Provideexpert guidance to ensureorganisational alignment with the NDIS Practice Standards internal governance frameworks and external regulatory obligations. This advisory role supports strategic decision-making and continuous improvement byinfluencing policy development audit readiness and risk mitigation strategies that underpin high-quality person-centred disability services

Key responsibilities

Policy Development

  • Advise ondeveloping and refiningorganisational policies to ensure regulatory alignment and operational relevance
  • Provide expert analysis on policy gaps and recommend evidence-based improvements.

Governance and Compliance

  • Provide advice on compliance withthe NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators.
  • Advise on risk mitigation strategies related to policy implementation.
Audit and Compliance
  • Interpret audit findings and advise on continuous improvement priorities
  • Advise on the scope andmethodologyofNDISaudits
  • Support audit teams inidentifyingsystemic risks and recommending corrective action

What we need from you

  • Experience in disability health or community services sector
  • In-depth knowledgeand experience inthe NDIS Practice StandardsandQuality Indicatorsand relevant legislation.
  • Excellent communication presentation and influencing skills
  • Experience with audit tools risk registers and incident management systems ( Solv) is highly desirable
  • Strong analytical communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Experience in service delivery and quality systems
  • Demonstrated integrityself-awarenessand professionalism
  • High levelof attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification ordemonstratedexperience in policydevelopment audit preparation and advisory serviceswithin the disability or community services sector
