Maddox You:
As a Local Driver you will be operating a shuttle truck to drop and hook flatbed trailers from one storage yard to another operating short distances on public roads. You would also be trained on forklift operations to load and unload trailers as needed.
This is not a long-haul position but a local driver position to move loaded and unloaded trailers quickly efficiently and safely. Its a fast-paced hard-working but very rewarding environment where you will be part of a team that moves and organizes industrial transformers. Your day-to-day activities will involve operating a commercial shuttle truck securing flatbed loads and communicating with suppliers and other truck drivers. You will occasionally operate forklifts and cranes to organize inventory load and unload transformers from flatbed trucks. You will have to keep your logs and paperwork organized in both physical and digital records. Most of the job is spent on or around your truck with several hours per day on your feet securing loads and working outdoors whether rain or shine.

More About You:
- Youre safety-minded and have a good driving record operating personal and commercial vehicles.
- Youre comfortable with digital documentation and web-based software systems (with computer & smartphone).
- Youre an excellent communicator; in-person over the phone and via email.
- Youre a quick learner; not a know-it-all.
Basics:
- This position works 40-45 hours per week on a 5-day schedule. All day-time schedule (not night shift). The schedule is 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday-Friday. Some additional paid overtime is available and occasionally mandatory during peak seasons.
- Employees are required to meet basic physical requirements for a heavy-equipment environment including a DOT physical and be able to operate on their feet for several hours every day. Maintain a Class A CDL including keeping a clean driving record obeying Hours of Service rules and passing random drug/alcohol tests. Must know how to use basic hand tools follow written instructions operate a computer or tablet etc.

Experience & Education:
We value skills and experience whether sleeper cab day cab or shuttle truck commercial driving but were also willing to invest in training early-career candidates with the right attitude and ambition.
Pay: Starting package $56k-$73k (wages and bonus) plus a comprehensive full-time benefits package that averages more than an additional $20k/year per employee (individual amounts vary on age family size and other factors).
