ROLE SUMMARY
The NAPA Counter Sales Representative supports the daily operations of the Beck NAPA store by providing accurate timely and professional customer service. This role is responsible for processing parts orders invoices Prontos and supporting jobsite and mechanic requests while maintaining compliance with inventory and operational procedures.
This position reports directly to both the NAPA Operations Managers and is expected to follow direction and accountability standards set.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service & Sales
Greet and assist customers mechanics and job supervisors promptly and professionally.
Accurately locate and quote parts using TAMS and approved systems.
Provide pricing availability and alternative part options when necessary.
Process tickets and transactions accurately.
Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely manner.
Complete other duties as assigned.
Order Processing & Documentation
Verify quantities pricing and job/WO allocations prior to finalizing transactions.
Immediately report discrepancies shortages or documentation issues to the managers.
Inventory & Store Support
Assist with receiving and returns.
Maintain organized shelves bins and staging areas.
Professional Standards & Accountability
Maintain a clean organized and professional counter area.
Follow all inventory purchasing and operational procedures.
Maintain limited personal phone use during work hours.
Demonstrate professionalism teamwork and respect at all times.
Accept direction and feedback from the Napa Operations Managers.
Technical & Administrative Expectations
- Basic computer proficiency (data entry email simple reporting)
- Ability to learn and use company inventory system
- Attention to detail when tracking materials and quantities
Working Conditions:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to bend reach stand and move materials throughout the shift
Schedule:
- Full-time
- 810 hour shifts
- MondayFriday with occasional overtime
