The role
Clifford Chance is seeking a full-time Receptionist to be the first point of contact for all visitors and clients in the Houston office. The Receptionist will be responsible for providing a high level of client service to both internal and external clients. The role will provide general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. This position will report to the Office Administrator.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a high-level of client service in all activities including demonstrating a standard of excellence with all client interactions.
- Greet visitors clients and colleagues with great professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Answer incoming calls route calls to the appropriate colleague and handle inquiries promptly and efficiently.
- Serve as primary contact for booking meetings and visitor offices.
- Assist Conference Services Coordinator with catering orders and in-office events as needed.
- Liaise with various departments and vendors to ensure conference center operations are running smoothly.
- Inform the building of any office maintenance issues.
- Provide clerical and administrative support.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the Office Administrator.
Qualifications :
Your experience
- 1-2 years of related front desk or reception experience in a law firm professional services firm or hospitality setting.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Maintain a professional presentable and calm disposition.
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision and also collaboratively with a team.
- Excellent organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Client-service-oriented with a proactive and positive approach.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced and growing environment.
- Must be highly motivated dependable and organized.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize competing demands to meet deadlines.
- Strong proficiency in office equipment/technology including Microsoft Office.
- Must be able to be on site five (5) days per week.
- Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
- Ability to work outside core business hours as needed.
- Must be independently and legally authorized to work in the United States.
Clifford Chance US LLP offers a comprehensive benefits and compensation package. The salary range for this role is $50000 to $55000. Actual salary will be commensurate with the candidates qualifications and relevant experience.
