DescriptionBrake Press Operators are in charge of operating the press and would have the following job responsibilities:
- This includes loading/unloading material and changing tooling.
- Inspecting and maintaining equipment for compliance with safety requirements.
- Corrects any safety issues prior to performing operations.
- Inspects parts per work in progress inspection procedure and ensures they meet engineering specifications.
- Resolves quality and mechanical problems making minor repairs and equipment adjustments as needed.
- Prioritizes production to ensure that customer orders are completed in a timely manner.
- Maximizes machine run time and productivity and maintains machine and tooling.
- Replaces die and punch holders as required to ensure safe machine operation.
- Works from blueprints engineering specifications and production schedules.

QualificationsMinimum Requirements:
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to work in high paced environment
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to use measuring devices are required for product inspection
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Position may require bending kneeling and stooping
- Exposed to shop elements such as noise dust odors and chemicals
