Are you passionate about helping your community Northern Rivers Community Gateway (NRCG) is seeking a Volunteer NILs Officer to support our Financial Inclusion programs.

Established in Lismore nearly 50 years ago we are firmly embedded in the communities we support. Today we are a QIP accredited organisation with over 20 programs and services in Lismore Grafton and across the Far North Coast.

About the NILs Program
The NILs (No Interest Loans Scheme) offers people on low incomes safe and affordable access to credit over a range of periods. As a volunteer you will work as part of a team within our Financial Inclusion programs supporting the NILs Team in day-to-day operations while reporting to the Manager Wellbeing & Inclusion.
The RoleAs a Volunteer NILs Officer you will:
Assist clients with loan applications and follow-ups
Maintain client records and program databases
Ensure compliance with operational and funding guidelines
Promote the NILs program and other NRCG services
You will work primarily from Lismore
What Were Looking ForEssential:
Understanding of people on low incomes
Relevant experience or qualifications for administrative and client support
Ability to meet targets and work flexibly
Computer literacy (Microsoft Office databases)
Desirable:
Experience in microfinance or loan programs
NSW Drivers Licence
