Technical Instructional Designer, NACF Central Ops

North American Customer Fulfillment (NACF) is looking for a Technical Instructional Designer (Tech ID) to join the Central Ops Learning team to help develop and build innovative and scalable learning products for Associate process path this role you will think big invent and simplify and deliver results for Tier 1 Amazon Associates across all North America.

Central Ops needs a Tech ID proficient in API/xAPI JavaScript GenAI LMS administration and the full Articulate360 Suite including Storyline and Rise. The Tech ID must also be comfortable partnering with Software Development Engineers (SDEs) and other technical roles to deliver integrated learning solutions. The Tech ID will partner with multiple stakeholders from various countries and be an active participant in the analysis build pilot launch maintenance and versioning process of the product build.

The ability to travel up to once per quarter as needed is required.

This role requires work out of an Amazon corporate office or Fulfillment Center. Therefore location is flexible as Amazon has these offices across most parts of the country.

Key job responsibilities
Conduct needs analyses to understand customer learning needs document workflow processes and identify both foundational and in-the-flow-of-work learning moments of need.
Leverage API calls JavaScript Python and other technologies to automate streamline and improve learning development and delivery.
Design and develop online learning experiences that align with learning outcomes apply research-based learning principles and measure learning in online learning environments.
Use eLearning and GenAI authoring tools to build online learning experiences that include assessments interactive activities multimedia assets and text-based content.
Stay current on developments in learning science learning design and learning technologies.

North American Customer Fulfillment (NACF) Central Ops has the unique role of delivering process path training to millions of Amazon Associates doing so in a way that lends to making Amazon the Earths Best Employer. - Bachelors degree or equivalent in Instructional Design Educational Technology Technical Training Design or a related field
- 3 years of work experience with Articulate Storyline and in the field of instructional design.
- Familiarity and experience with leveraging AI tools to streamline and improve work processes.

- Masters Degree in a related discipline (instructional design or adult education).
- Expert proficiency with leveraging API calls JavaScript Python GenAI and other technologies to automate streamline and improve learning development and delivery.
- Coding skills experience developing websites apps or other digital products using HTML JavaScript CSS and/or other related languages.
- Industry certifications in instructional design curriculum development performance improvement project management or content-specific certifications as appropriate (CPLP CPT etc.).
- Project management experience including planning work managing details keeping multiple tasks/projects on track time management and doing whatever it takes to deliver results.
- Experience with Testing or Validation processes and procedures including end-to-end system integration.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
