Job Summary

PACU Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Panama City Florida
Schedule: Full-Time Mixed 10-Hour Shifts
(7:00 AM5:30 PM 8:00 AM6:30 PM 9:00 AM7:30 PM 10:00 AM8:30 PM)
On-Call: Rotating 30-Minute Response Time Required
Compensation: $27.72$39.60/hour (based on experience)
Shift Differential: $2.50/hour after 3:00 PM
On-Call Pay: $4.00/hour
Sign-On Bonus: $15000
Relocation Assistance: Available (case-by-case)

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking PACU Registered Nursefor an exciting job in Panama City Florida.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive post-anesthesia recovery care for surgical patients
Manage airway support and perform continuous neurological and cardiac monitoring
Deliver initial wound care and promptly address complications or adverse reactions
Collaborate closely with surgical and anesthesia teams to maintain patient stability
Assess document and communicate changes in patient condition throughout recovery
Educate patients and families on post-operative care medications and discharge planning

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of recent acute care PACU RN experience (within the past year) Required
Critical Care background strongly preferred
Active Florida RN license (Compact license accepted; must obtain FL license within 60 days)
ADN or Diploma in Nursing required (BSN preferred)
BLS within 30 days of hire
ACLS and PALS within 60 days of hire
