The Group is expanding into aviation with Mukti Airways (proposed project) and has developed Mukti World a premium entertainment and dining hub in South Kolkata including the London Paris multiplex. The Group is now expanding across Eastern and North Eastern India with a focus on township and smart city projects.

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Manager / Senior Manager Business Development to drive growth through land acquisition and joint development deals. The role involves land identification feasibility evaluation negotiation and deal closure.

The ideal candidate should have a strong real estate market. Knowledge negotiation skills and an established industry network.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Land Identification & Evaluation:

  • Scout suitable land parcels for residential commercial or mixed-use developments
  • Conduct market research to evaluate location viability infrastructure potential and demand
  • Coordinate with architects legal and finance teams for feasibility analysis

2. Financial & Commercial Analysis:

  • Prepare and review financial feasibility studies (ROI IRR cash flow projections)
  • Support management in evaluating project economics and risk-return scenarios
  • Develop business cases for land acquisition proposals

3. Negotiation & Deal Structuring:

  • Lead negotiations for acquisitions joint developments and JV structures
  • Work with legal advisors on Term Sheets MoUs and Joint Development Agreements (JDAs)
  • Ensure compliance with internal approval processes and documentation

4. Relationship Management

  • Build networks with brokers consultants landowners and authorities
  • Represent Mukti Group at industry events exhibitions and forums
  • Maintain stakeholder relationships to identify opportunities

5. Coordination & Reporting

  • Liaise with Legal Finance and technical teams for due diligence and approvals
  • Track and report deal progress and market intelligence to management
  • Maintain an updated pipeline of opportunities

Requirements

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Architecture Business Administration or related field
  • MBA preferred

Experience:

  • 812 years of experience in land acquisition development management or related functions
  • Proven experience in negotiating JDAs / JVs and deal closures

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of property laws and due diligence processes
  • Excellent communication networking and analytical skills
  • Deep understanding of real estate market trends
