THE ROLE
Our Colorado Springs Rockrimmonsite is seeking an Automation Engineer to join our growing this role you will design implement andoptimizeautomation systems for our advanced manufacturing operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate robotics controls and automation solutions that improve safety quality and productivity. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 13 years of experience and a degree in Mechatronics Robotics Mechanical or Electrical Engineering who is eager to apply their skills and grow in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
WHAT YOULL DO
Supportdesignand implementation of automated equipment and control systems.
Assistwith programming and troubleshooting PLCs HMIs and robotic systems.
Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and technicians tooptimizeprocesses.
Participate in equipment installation commissioning and validation activities.
Conduct safety and risk assessments for automation projects.
Analyze data to improve equipment performance and reliability.
Stay current with emerging automation technologies and best practices.
WHAT WE SEEK
Bachelors degree in Mechatronics Robotics Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
13 years of experience in automation engineering or related field (internships/co-ops count).
Familiarity with PLC programming (Rockwell/Allen Bradley preferred).
Basic understanding of robotics motion control and industrial networks.
Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical/electrical aptitude.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
OUTSTANDING CANDIDATES WILL HAVE
Experience with robotic programming and integration
Exposure tovision systems sensors and servo systems.
Knowledge of CAD tools (SolidWorks or similar).
Understanding ofmanufacturing processes and cleanroom practices.
Ability to adapt to fast-paced dynamic environments.

- Compensation: $80000-$100000 year range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
