This exciting role is housed within Honeywell Aerospaces Sensing Guidance and Navigation Center of Excellence (SGN COE). As aHardware Engineer Iin the SGN COE you will join SGNs storied electrical engineering group. You will be responsible for supporting the hardware design process from concept to production. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define hardware requirements and specifications and assist in designing complex hardware systems including schematic capture and PCB layout.

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and youll work out of either our Minneapolis MN or Clearwater FL locations on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role you will impact the development of innovative hardware solutions that enhance the quality of life for people around the world and contribute to Honeywells position as a global technology leader.

This role will specialize in electronic hardware design for high-performance sensors including microelectromechanical sensors (MEMS) and ring laser gyro (RLG) technologies. As part of the storied team you will receive expert mentorship and guidance in a culture centered on technical excellence and design speed.



Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the hardware design process from concept to production.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define hardware requirements and specifications.
  • Support the design and development of complex hardware systems including schematic capture and PCB layout.
  • Execute worst-case analyses by employing circuit theory.


Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science technology engineering mathematics.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware design principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools.
  • Familiarity with hardware testing and validation processes.

The annual base salary range for this position is $71000 - $88800. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position the candidates work experience education and training key skills as well as market and business considerations.
