Job Summary

The Regional Quality Manager is responsible for leading the Quality function across operations managing Quality Assurance and Quality Control on a global scale. This role involves overseeing all quality-related activities directing the QA/QC teams and ensuring that company policies and procedures are strictly followed. The successful candidate will ensure that all manufactured products meet customer requirements legal compliance and predetermined quality standards based on applicable specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop implement and control high-level quality strategies and establish KPIs for the Quality function.
  • Ensure Quality objectives align with the companys vision mission growth targets and strategic plans.
  • Lead motivate and develop a high-performance team by recruiting training and retaining Quality professionals.
  • Set departmental and individual objectives conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback.
  • Prepare and manage the Quality functions annual budget monitoring financial performance and capitalizing on improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct at least one annual management review meeting to evaluate the effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS).

Quality Assurance Management

  • Direct the development and implementation of an effective QMS to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and national/international standards.
  • Lead the groups Quality audit program tracking risks and improvements centrally.
  • Ensure best practices are applied across the group to optimize product quality and lower costs.
  • Maintain the companys accreditations product certifications and product qualification test reports.
  • Update national and international standards and stay informed on the latest product development and design processes.
  • Support cross-functional problem-solving teams to track action plans and deliverables.

Quality Control & Technical Audits

  • Oversee the QC department ensuring adherence to Know-How documents and standards to guarantee high-quality product delivery.
  • Take accountability for product quality performance monitor Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and analyze product failure reports.
  • Collaborate with Technology Engineering Service Providers and Unit Quality Managers to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure appropriate training is provided to the QC team.
  • Review approve and oversee the yearly Technical Audit program and its reports.
  • Follow up with the manufacturing team to ensure corrective actions and improvements are successfully implemented.

HSE Compliance & Boundaries

  • Ensure all HSE procedures and controls are adhered to by the Quality function to guarantee the safety of employees products and environmental compliance.
  • Exercise the authority to reject raw materials in-process items and finished products that do not meet required quality standards.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelors degree in an Engineering discipline (Manufacturing Mechanical Chemical Industrial or Civil) or Business Administration.
  • Experience: Minimum 15 years of relevant Quality management experience in a medium to large-sized manufacturing company with at least 7 years at a senior level.
  • Preferred Experience: 15 years of knowledge in Composite Piping Design Manufacturing Quality and Installation. Extensive Oil & Gas experience is highly preferred.
  • Certifications: Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.

Skills & Competencies

  • Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of Composite Product/System Design and international GRP/GRE product specifications. Thorough understanding of ISO 9001 and API Q1 QMS.
  • Problem Solving: Expert in root cause analysis data gathering and analytical thinking.
  • Leadership & Influence: Ability to influence quality behaviors at all levels drive change and enforce regulations autonomously. Excellent leadership team management and interpersonal skills.
  • Work Style: Self-motivated disciplined well-organized goal-oriented and capable of working in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
