Backend C# Developer – Trading

Position Description:

We are looking for a C# developer who is eager to grow in a dynamic and central environment contributing to the development of critical applications used by trading and operations teams in New York and internationally.

You will be involved in the full development lifecycle from design to deployment working closely with product and technical teams within an Agile Scrum framework.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Design develop and maintain C# features.
Integrate applications with MQ Series.
Develop and maintain Oracle databases.
Actively participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies.
Perform code reviews technical analysis and user demonstrations.
Contribute to deployments through automated CI/CD pipelines.
Implement and maintain robust unit tests using Moq.
Manage source code using Git.
Use Jenkins for continuous integration.
Collaborate closely with the Product Owner on functional priorities.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must already be legally authorized to work in Canada.
Must reside in the province of Quebec.
Bilingualism Comfortable speaking both French and English.
Minimum 4 years of experience in software development.
Strong experience in C# .NET development.
Experience with Git Jenkins Moq (or equivalent testing frameworks) and MQ Series.
Knowledge of Oracle databases and NuGet.

Assets:
Experience in trading or financial operations application environments.
Knowledge of additional technologies within ecosystem.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level geographic market experience and training and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $60000 to $115000. This role is an existing vacancy.
