Description

Purpose of the Role

The Global Mobility Specialist will play a key role in supporting DNVs Global Mobility Program and its stakeholders and ensuring compliance across international assignment processes. This position has a stronger focus on International Assignment (IA) Management with Vendor Management acting as a secondary yet still important responsibility.

  • International Assignment Management delivering end-to-end support for employees on international assignments and stakeholders involved ensuring policy compliance and a positive employee experience.
  • Vendor Management overseeing external service providers (tax immigration relocation) to ensure quality cost efficiency and adherence to contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities

International Assignment Management

  • Coordinate the full lifecycle of international assignments (pre-assignment on-assignment repatriation).
  • Advise employees and managers on global mobility policies tax immigration and relocation matters.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and local/global regulations.
  • Collaborate with HR Finance and other stakeholders to deliver seamless assignment processes.

Vendor Management

  • Manage relationships with external vendors (tax advisors relocation providers immigration consultants).
  • Monitor vendor performance against SLAs and KPIs; escalate issues as needed.
  • Support procurement processes including contract reviews and renewals.
  • Drive continuous improvement and cost optimization initiatives in vendor services.

Projects & Continuous Improvement

  • Participate in projects related to global mobility and vendor management including:
    • Onboarding new vendors and service providers.
    • Supporting tenders and contract negotiations.
  • Contributing to process improvements and system enhancements for International Assignments.
  • Actively engage in cross-functional initiatives to improve compliance efficiency and employee experience.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelors degree in HR Business Administration or related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years in Global Mobility International HR or Vendor Management.
  • Experience with international assignments and vendor coordination is highly desirable.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of global mobility policies tax and immigration basics.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Negotiation skills and ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.

Language: Fluent in English (written and spoken).
