Role Overview
Itron is seeking a proactive detail-oriented Facilities Coordinator to support day-to-day facilities and workplace operations at its Singapore office. This is a contract position where you will work on-site at Itron while being employed through a third-party payroll partner.
Experience: 1-4 Years
The role is designed for a hands-on facilities professional who can independently manage workplace operations vendors and stakeholders while aligning with Itrons global facilities standards local compliance requirements and employee experience expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Facilities & Workplace Operations
- Manage daily office operations to ensure a safe efficient and professional workplace environment.
- Ensure workspace readiness including seating meeting rooms common areas and office equipment.
- Act as the on-site point of contact for all facilities-related issues and service requests.
- Coordinate Moves Adds and Changes (MAC) related to office layouts seating and space utilization.
- Support smooth day-to-day operations for employees visitors and leadership.
- Proactively identify facility-related risks or improvement areas and escalate appropriately.
Vendor & Service Provider Management
- Coordinate with building management and external service providers including housekeeping security maintenance pantry services and pest control.
- Monitor vendor performance against agreed service levels and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Track service requests work orders and follow-ups through to closure.
- Support invoice verification and maintain basic records related to vendor services and contracts.
- Ensure vendor compliance with site rules safety standards and workplace guidelines.
Health Safety & Compliance
- Support implementation of workplace health safety and security standards in line with Itron policies and Singapore regulations.
- Assist with regular facility inspections audits and compliance checks.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness activities including drills signage and vendor readiness.
- Ensure adherence to local building rules safety guidelines and statutory requirements.
- Report incidents hazards or near misses in line with internal procedures.
Administrative & Operational Support
- Support office-related procurement such as stationery pantry supplies and minor equipment.
- Assist with internal office events employee engagement activities and leadership or client visits.
- Manage courier services mailroom activities and facilities documentation.
- Maintain accurate trackers reports and records related to facilities operations.
- Support coordination with IT and HR teams for onboarding offboarding and workplace needs.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Work closely with internal teams including HR IT Finance and global Facilities partners.
- Communicate clearly with employees regarding facilities updates maintenance activities and office guidelines.
- Escalate operational vendor or safety issues appropriately and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Act as a reliable on-site representative for facilities-related matters.
Required Skills & Experience
- 35 years of experience in facilities coordination workplace operations or office management.
- Hands-on experience managing vendors and service providers.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and take full ownership of on-site responsibilities.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a multinational corporate environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting technology engineering or corporate office environments.
- Exposure to global or regional facilities processes and corporate standards.
- Basic understanding of procurement invoicing and cost tracking.
- Experience supporting hybrid or flexible workplace models.

Shift & Working Details
- Work Location: On-site at Itron office Singapore
- Shift Timing: 20-25 hours per week Monday to Friday
