Job Summary
- Analyze requirements user stories and CDR data standards
- Design and execute test cases for Product and Customer Data APIs
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger
- Validate data attributes mandatory fields and schema compliance
- Execute positive negative boundary and error-handling scenarios
- Perform regression testing across CDR endpoints
- Log track and retest defects in JIRA
- Support UAT and production verification activities
- Maintain traceability between requirements test cases and defects
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in API and data validation testing
- Knowledge of RESTful services JSON and HTTP status codes
- Understanding of banking or financial data
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Desirable Skills
- Exposure to CDR / Open Banking standards
- Basic automation scripting experience
- Knowledge of OAuth2 consent management and security testing basics
Required Skills:
The Offshore Test Analyst will execute functional API and data validation testing for Consumer Data Right (CDR) initiatives with a focus on Product and Customer Data accuracy compliance and consent-driven data sharing. Key Responsibilities Analyze requirements user stories and CDR data standards Design and execute test cases for Product and Customer Data APIs Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger Validate data attributes mandatory fields and schema compliance Execute positive negative boundary and error-handling scenarios Perform regression testing across CDR endpoints Log track and retest defects in JIRA Support UAT and production verification activities Maintain traceability between requirements test cases and defects Work closely with the onsite Test Lead to meet delivery timelines Required Skills & Experience Experience in API and data validation testing Knowledge of RESTful services JSON and HTTP status codes Understanding of banking or financial data Experience with test management and defect tracking tools Strong analytical and documentation skills Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
