Description- New Product Introduction (NPI):Partner with design and engineering teams to define quality criteria create test plans and ensure products meet specifications before mass production.
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA):Investigate analyze and resolve failures in data center hardware (e.g. racks components) during integration and in the field often using 8D methodology.
- Manufacturing Quality Assurance:Monitor production processes conduct first article inspections and implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) to ensure consistency.
- Supplier Quality Management:Collaborate with suppliers to ensure final products (buy customized products) meet quality Vertiv standards including APQP and PPAP requirements.
- Documentation and Compliance:Maintain quality documents create inspection procedures and ensure compliance with standards like ISO 9001 and industry-specific regulations.
- Lead cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions through problem solving process. Evaluate completed corrective actions and ensure effectiveness of actions. Recommend appropriate remedial activities.
- Support service teams working in customers sites to proactively see installations and document improvement needs. Visit customers to understand the nature of the issue and get definite corrective action initiated in the organization.
- Track shipments of new products Pareto and report issues and assist in assigning ownership to the problems.
- Support product transfer process and assist with product audit feedback and early field issue reporting.
- Present reports to the organization regarding Quality performance. Present status updates on various quality initiatives.
- Develop 8D and Customer reports on reported issues. Communicate internally and externally the outcomes of investigations. Work with internal teams including Engineering Service Manufacturing/Operations Sales Offering Management to resolve quality issues impacting customers.
- Execute Quality Engineering responsibilities on New Product Development projects participating in New Product Development Process (NPDP) teams tracking issues and ensuring effective resolution. Ensure risk management plans are in place when issues are identified.
- Create analytic reporting around warranty data for LATAMs LOB using Use Excel SQL and Power BI
